Air Conditioning
Air conditioning systems on all vehicles lose refrigerant over time. This is inevitable and doesn’t necessarily mean there is a leak or worn component, but more to do with the way the o-rings in the system function. When the system gets low, the compressor pump works harder to keep the pressure high. This results in overheating & burnout which can cause irreparable compressor damage and expensive system repairs. For this reason, we recommend having your air conditioning system serviced every 2 years.
Servicing involves testing the systems performance, recovering & measuring the existing refrigerant in the system, performing a system vacuum and recharging with new refrigerant to the correct quantity, and if necessary adding compressor oil and leak detection dye. If a leak is suspected or a repair is necessary, we are the ones to find it and carry out that repair with trained technicians in this field and expert leak detection equipment.
Standard servicing including re-gas starts from - $395!
